Staying in this palacio Cueto hotel, I had a bad experience I called the staff to let them know I needed toilet paper.... it took over an hour and a half for me to go downstairs and tell him I still haven't received the toilet paper. their answer was one of the co-workers there was going to go and purchase it..
I had to knock next door to my neighbor and ask if I can use the restroom ... pretty sad when you can use your own restroom in a five star hotel..
The showers were not clean ,lots of mold and mildew in the shower..
The shower will overflowed every time I took a shower there respond was you have hair and that's why the water is not going down...
The floors were not clean after two days of staying in a dirty real with a dirty floor I told the staff not to even bother to come in ...
We let the hotel know that our security Vault was not working their respond is will look into it tomorrow and everyday I would mention it to them and their response would be will looking into it tomorrow ... The staff was in Friendly at all their customer service has to improve ...
I really do not do not recommend this hotel this day the hotel next door was better it also had free Wi-Fi and when you would try to purchase the Wi-Fi there they would tell you they can't sell it to you there at that time come back later I didn't get it it was free Wi-Fi next door all the time..

March 2020 I stayed at this hotel for five nights The floors were dirty, shower had mold and mildew, no towels or toilet paper. It took 2 days to get towels and toilet paper! Yes, staff said it had to go to the store to purchase toilet paper and towels not sure why it took so long. 😳 They have 5 other sister hotels😳. Internet? The staff pics and chooses who they sell internet access too👎 The AirBnB next door had free internet service🤗 Shower was not draining the staff said it was because of the suds from the shampoo😳 it overflowed the next time I called the staff said it was 5 pieces of hair that would not allow draining! Rooftop bar has a very nice view just don't order drinks they are weak and bartender was challenged in making any good cocktail. I asked for a margarita I politely asked for lime and the bartender got upset said we have lime juice only I said ok can I have a little more, he dumped what he could into my drink ruining it😡 Highly Disappointed for a 5 Star Hotel👎 Not recommended

I was recommended to have drinks at the bar at the roof top and was really looking forward to a treat. Boy was I disappointed. Stylish hotel and beautiful view from the patio, yes, but the service was awful. The older man in the bar was grumpy, he forgot to make my drink, which only was mediocre, and to top it all off the sweet young waitress kept the change as tips without asking. Not going back!

Beautiful building from the outside. The bedroom was spacious. The dining room was freezing. The waiters have no idea what they are doing and walk aimlessly around. The tables are very fancily decked, wine glasses at breakfast and fish knives but there was always something missing, like a cup, fork or spoon. The breakfast was atrocious, the worse we had in the two weeks travelling around Cuba. The last morning we went to a neighbouring restaurant for a delicious breakfast. For a four star they really should try a bit harder.
The receptionists are not competetent. Asked if we could have a late check out we were told of course. One gave us a 10 cuc per hour price the other 20cuc. There was actually a price list at reception that we didn't see. Then the key was blocked when we tried to get in the room, this should have been extended when we paid.
The drain in the bathroom stank that made it very unpleasant to sleep. It was so bad we covered it with a towel.
We have tolfld our travel agents and do not recommend this place. There seems to be no management here and the staff just seem to be hanging around doing nothing.

Finally , this masterpiece which was reduced to its facade , is a pleasure to see rebuilt after 20 years being a shell. Stunning !!! *~;)
